Today at CTEC, our EMT program welcomed back a former student, Stephen Telfer and his Lieutenant from the Windcrest Fire Dept.

Stephen was a graduate of CTEC EMT program in 2019/2020 school year. Since then, Stephen has also become a firefighter as well as an EMT and asked if he could bring out their fire engine for show and tell. Stephen and his Lieutenant had a small presentation followed by a question-and-answer session before moving out to the fire truck. At the firetruck, the students were able to sit in it, flow water from it, and put on the firefighting gear as well as hold the extraction gear. Not only were the EMT classes involved, but so were all the Medical Professions Academies—Dental, Pharmacy, CNA, and MA.
