CDC Says " Take 3 " Actions to Fight Against The Flu

The first thing you want to do is to make time to get a flu vaccination. It can help reduce the flu illness, decrease doctor's' visits, shorten missed work or school, as well as prevent hospitalizations and deaths related to the flu.

Anyone 6 months or older can be immunized, especially if you are a person at high risk (for example, young children, pregnant women, individuals with chronic diseases, or those 65 and older)

Secondly, try to avoid people with the flu or other illnesses which you can catch. Germs can be spread by sneezing, touching, drinking out of the same glass of someone who is sick, and many more ways. Wash your hands frequently, especially after coughing, sneezing, toileting, or anytime you may come into contact with germs.
Clean and disinfect contaminated surfaces.

Finally, if you have illness symptoms, see your doctor and take any medication prescribed until it is complete.
