Have a great day at JK
Our campus has a distinctive and welcoming community that vibrates with our own unique energy and offers children a myriad of opportunities through which they develop pride and fellowship—a journey that prepares them for life, the next grade, and beyond.
Children will discover at Jackson-Keller Elementary that they are capable of achieving beyond their expectations. Jackson-Keller Elementary offers your child a variety of academic, artistic, and athletic opportunities that give life to Ralph Waldo Emerson’s observation: “The mind once stretched by a new idea never returns to its original dimensions.”
When you choose Jackson-Keller Elementary, you choose teachers with a passion to create a safe, warm and welcoming environment in which your children explore their potential. Our teachers celebrate individuality, value originality, and recognize that each child learns in different ways. The teachers at Jackson-Keller Elementary create one-on-one learning opportunities and advocate for your children, your school, and your community.
Jackson-Keller Elementary seeks and assigns teachers who value teaching methods that enhance your child’s learning experiences. A child attending our school experiences a teacher who embraces strategies that they adapt to serve the personal needs of your child.
...are accessible to you.
Jackson-Keller Elementary teachers recognize that a child’s success is a combination of collaboration and communication with you. Many of our teachers use such tools as Seesaw, Remind, Skyward, and e-mail to keep you updated on the classroom and campus activities that impact your child. Communication with our teachers is encouraged, welcomed, and necessary to shape your child’s learning experiences.
I went to Jackson Keller when I was in elementary school. Overall I had a good time, I had really great teachers that I still email from time to time and keep up with. I remember they offered enrichment courses for fun and they were very interesting. I took the science course and had a great time with the experiments we did, it was a great time all around.
North East ISD students showed off their Spanish spelling skills in our District Spanish Spelling Bee.
“We can be the teachers’ eyes and ears to catch things the teachers can’t catch.”
