I am the very proud principal of Tuscany Heights Elementary! The 2023-2024 school year starts my second year as a Tuscany Heights Tiger administrator. Go Tigers!!! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis. In 2016, I received my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I have two beautiful children. My daughter is completing her college degree in Psychology and my son graduated from college and is currently working in education as well.
My teaching career began while stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where I taught computer classes to adults at the local community college. I knew the classroom was where I was meant to be. Once back in San Antonio, I taught 3rd and 4th grade for six years. I was then selected as the Instructional Intervention Teacher (IIT) and worked with students that struggled with reading. In 2016, I was appointed the Assistant Principal at El Dorado Elementary and was then moved to Vineyard Ranch Elementary as their Assistant Principal for a year.
I am extremely passionate about developing 360-degree students and creating a wonderful elementary experience for them. I am thrilled to be a part of a wonderful staff and community.

I love serving the Tuscany Heights Elementary Community as the assistant principal! I was raised in a small town outside of Ft. Worth, TX. After high school, I moved to Provo, UT to attend Brigham Young University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in General and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education. In 2022, I returned to BYU to earn a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I have three wonderful stepchildren and one sweet grandson. In addition, I have one daughter who is starting kindergarten this year.
I began my teaching career in Utah, where I taught elementary and middle school special education for 5 years. After completing my master’s degree, I joined the faculty of Brigham Young University as a clinical professor in special education. I spent 16 years at BYU and loved helping prepare new teachers for the classroom, but I missed being a part of a school community. That led to my decision to return to the public school setting as a special education teacher. After moving back to Texas, I served in this capacity at Thousand Oaks Elementary last year.
I am passionate about guiding all students to reach their full potential and supporting a positive school setting where all students can learn and grow. I am thrilled to be a part of the Tuscany Heights community.
