    At Stone Oak Library, we encourage your child to become a critical thinker, enthusiastic reader, skillful researcher, and ethical user of information.  Your child will have the opportunity to visit the library to check out books, listen to stories, learn library skills, and much more!

  • How do I get a parent account?

    Posted by:

    Parents may sign up for their own library account.  A parent account allows you:  

    * to check out up to 5 books at a time for 3 weeks

    * access to Sora, the North East ISD eBook collection

    Come by the library to sign up for library access. 

    **Note: If you have students attending different NEISD schools, you still only need 1 account.**

  • What are the hours of the Stone Oak Library?

    The Stone Oak Library is open Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

  • How many books can students and parents check out?

    Posted by:

    *Pre-K - 1st grade students may check out 1 book for 1 week.

    *2nd grade students may check out 2 books for 1 week.

    *3rd - 5th grade students may check out 3 books for 2 weeks.

    *Parents and community members may check out up to 5 books for 3 weeks.
