Ms. Kelli Halliburton
Hello. My name is Kelli Halliburton and I am the proud principal of Huebner Elementary! We are so happy that you are here.
2024-2025 marks the start of my 25th year in education. I earned my BA in Education from Pacific Lutheran University in 1999, a Masters in Education from Lesley University in 2003 and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UTSA in 2012. I began my teaching career in Washington state, where I taught 2nd-4th grades. When I moved to Texas in 2005, I had the opportunity to teach 6th- 8th grades in SAISD and 5th grade in NEISD before becoming a math instructional coach. I have had the privilege of serving as assistant principal and principal at two other Northeast campuses.
I have a love for curriculum and instruction, and I am passionate about learning. As principal of Huebner, I am committed to fostering and inspiring a collaborative community of learners and dedicated to their intellectual, emotional, and physical growth. I look forward to a fabulous, fun year with our Huskies.

Hello Husky Families!
I’m excited to continue as the assistant principal at Huebner Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year. I’m a proud graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio where I received my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education. I then had the privilege of working in NEISD as a classroom teacher for 11 years before going back to school and receiving my Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas.
I’m thrilled to be home in the Churchill cluster to serve the community I grew up in. I look forward to having an amazing school year and spending time learning with and loving our Huskies!
