Hello and welcome! I am a graduate of UTSA - Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Education Leadership. I have 18 years of experience in the education world. Fourteen years were spent teaching English at the secondary level. My first teaching job was actually at my high school in Harlingen, Texas. 

During my middle school and high school years, my home was Harlingen, but I am originally from a small town in West Texas named Marfa. I have two children: Mikel (13) and Izara (15). Spending time at the beach is one of my favorite things to do during the summer. I also enjoy hand lettering and calligraphy.

I love teaching English III AP/ GT and being a part of the STEM family.  Yeah to great new 2021-2022 school year!
