Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Maeve Armand

I graduated from LEE (NESA Dance Program) in 2019 and I graduated from Trinity University in May of 2023 with a Bachelors in History and a Minor in teaching. I am currently a Trinity University Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) graduate student and will earn my Masters Degree in May of 2024. At Trinity, I conducted research in the following programs: Mellon Undergraduate Research Fellowship (2021-2022), Mach Research Fellowship (2022-2023), and American Historical Association Annual Meeting Undergraduate Presenter (2023). I also did a study abroad program in London on Sports. I have worked at the Witte Museum as a Visitor Associate (2022-2023) and spent many years dancing and assisting teaching young dancers at the Earl Cobb Studio. I will be co-teaching with Mrs. Gretchen Wickes this year and know the school well, as I was a PAL and particiapted in Model UN and the Current Events Club as well as my NESA Dance activities. I hope to continue to work in San Antonio schools to advance my career in education and to help my home community. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my dogs Dory and Kronk. I also love to travel and crochet. I am so excited to get to know the wonderful students of LEE High School and have a great year!
