COMPENSATION PLAN
2011–2012 SCHOOL YEAR
On Monday, May 9, 2011 , the Board of Trustees voted to freeze all District employee salaries for the 2011-12 SY. You can view your 2010-11 salary letter by logging into the Employee Portal - ESS.
New Teachers and Librarians:
$46,000 Starting Pay (no experience) for 10-Months
Starting salaries for all other new hire teachers will be based upon the Commissioner’s Rules on Creditable Years of Service up to a maximum base pay of $57,990.
Eligibility for Advanced Degree Stipends:
Beginning with the 2011-12 SY, employees assigned to a classroom teaching assignment may be eligible for an advanced degree stipend. In order to receive the $1,800 Master’s Degree and $1,500 Doctorate Degree stipend(s), the advanced degree major must be in at least one of the following areas:
1. Teacher’s Assignment
2. Curriculum & Instruction
3. Teaching
Non-teaching positions are not eligible for advanced degree stipends.
