Linda Howe

I was raised in Kentucky. I completed my BA in English at Emory University and my MA in English at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. My Husband Dick, and I lived in Madison, Chicago, and Bloomington, Indiana and then moved to San Antonio in 1976. We have two wonderful daughters and five fine grandchildren who live in California. I taught English at UTSA for nine years and middle school English at Nimitz for seven years. During that time I completed my second MA  in Education and earned my LPC license (Licensed Professional Counselor).

In 1996, I found the career I had planned since my days at Emory: being a high school guidance counselor at Roosevelt. In 2003 I became the founding counselor for the Engineering and Technologies Academy. I have helped grow ETA from 37 students to the almost 400 students it is today, and that is the passion and commitment of my life.

I am committed to counseling my wonderful ETA students as I help them develop new paradigms for their lives and to helping them maximize their own potential.
