    Free Financial Aid Mentoring: Next Gen Vest provides 1:1 financial aid mentoring and support from current college students around the country.  Who better to guide you through the process than someone who recently completed it?  Just text 646-798-1745 and say “I want help paying for college,” or visit their website https://www.nextgenvest.com/.  You can also access Next Gen Vest's suggested financial aid timeline along with other great suggestions here.

    Colleges That Meet 100% Need: Many colleges now commit to providing an award package that will meet 100% student need.  Keep in mind this can include work-study programs and summer commitments.  Some schools also factor loans into their award package.  List of schools available here.

    Café College: This is a fantastic resource in San Antonio that provides all services for FREE!  They offer regular workshops to assist with post-secondary planning and accessing financial aid.

    Alamo Colleges Foundation Scholarships Application - If you are planning to attend one of the Alamo Colleges, don't forget to apply for scholarship consideration here: www.alamo.edu/foundation/scholarships
     
    ALIR Scholarship $4,500 scholarship is intended to assist a graduating high school senior in achieving post high school education or training. Application is linked at bottom of the page.

    San Antonio Area Foundation offers several scholarship opportunities.  The site is usually updated in the fall.
     
    Raise.me is a newer platform where you can create a profile that tracks your accomplishments and pairs that information up with various universities that offer scholarships for such accomplishments.

    Scholarships by College Major - there are several scholarships available by intended major. Please see the attachments at the bottom of the page for these resources.
     
    San Antonio Desk and Derrick Scholarship - for students have at least a 3.0 GPA http://saddc.org/?page_id=7
     
    Association for Learning Environments Scholarship - $2000 award for "students planning to study in a field related to the Architecture, Engineering (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architectural, etc.) and Construction industry (AEC) as well as related disciplines such as Interior Design, Information Technologies, Computer-Aided Design, etc. as they relate to building design, construction and related careers."  Application is here.
