We believe in challenging our students to excel beyond the minimum level of achievement defined by the Texas Education Agency, and all ISA students are required to enroll in advanced level classes, including Honors and Advanced Placement. Historically, an 80 average was held as a measure of academic success in advanced level classes. Students are encouraged and supported to achieve at or beyond this academic standard and may be invited to outside of the classroom learning environments--like Saturday School--to improve their grades and demonstrate content mastery.
