Can I go to a Capped School through School Choice?
A capped school is a school that cannot service students in their attendance zone due to overpopulation. As a result, students are bused to another designated campus identified by the District. If a Capped School is requested through School Choice, the student’s name will be added to the Wait List. The Wait List consists of names of students that are on School Choice status or Overflow status. The names of the students on School Choice status are always after all names of the students on an Overflow status.
