• Level I


    Conferences are typically held with the principal and are scheduled within 10 days from the receipt of the complaint.

    The principal or designee will confirm receipt of the grievance within two days. All documentary evidence is provided by the complainant and shared at the conference.

    The principal will listen, review the evidence provided, and conduct an inquiry into the complaint as necessary.

    The principal will respond in writing to the complainant within 10 days of the conference.

  • “Days” shall mean District business days, unless otherwise noted.

  • To file a formal complaint, please fill out this form completely and submit it by hand delivery to the campus principal/appropriate administrator or to the District by emailing the Executive Director of Pupil Personnel Services at grievances@neisd.net within the time established in FNG (LOCAL). All complaints will be heard in accordance with FNG (LEGAL) and (LOCAL) or any exceptions outlined therein. If requested, the principal will assist in the completion of the form.
