Elementary Campuses

Most elementary campuses will operate on limited schedules and will close for the summer beginning June 10, 2026.

Castle Hills:  Summer intersession for Castle Hills begins May 25 and concludes July 14, 2026.

Middle School

Middle school campuses will operate on limited schedules and will close for the summer beginning June 17, 2026. 

High School

High school campuses will operate on limited schedules and will close for the summer during the week of June 29-July 3, 2026.

Free Summer Meals for Kids

This summer, North East ISD is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, making sure every child has access to healthy meals while school is out.

All children 18 and under can receive free meals—no cost, no hassle.

Meals are available to every child in the community, and everyone is served equally. There are no requirements to qualify, and all children will receive the same meal regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

Our goal is simple:
Make sure every child is fed, supported, and ready to enjoy their summer.

Summer Kids' Camp

(Mon.- Fri.)

We are thrilled to offer a variety of seasonal camps for the 25-26' school year, designed for participants currently in Pre-K through 5th grade. Our full-day programs provide campers with fun-filled days of enrichment activities, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and more. Each week is themed to enhance our planned activities, ensuring engaging and memorable experiences. All activities are led by NEISD-trained employees who are dedicated to making a positive impact on your child’s life. Please note that campers are required to bring their own lunch and a reusable water bottle. We provide a light breakfast snack and an afternoon snack to keep everyone energized throughout the day.

Summer Feast

Free Food, Fun, and Resources for Your Family

Wednesday, June 10, 2026 | 10:30 am–12:30 pm

Join us for Summer Feast, a free, family-friendly event designed to help you kick off summer with everything you need—all in one place.

Every child 18 and under will receive a free lunch through our summer meal program, and families can enjoy an afternoon filled with activities, support, and giveaways.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Free lunch for kids (18 & under)

• Food bundles from the San Antonio Food Bank (limited, first come, first served)
• A resource fair with helpful information from district teams, local businesses, and community organizations
• Free giveaways and door prizes throughout the event
• Fun fitness activities led by our PE and Health team to keep kids moving and engaged
• Access to the CHRISTUS Mobile Clinic for early immunizations
• Live entertainment for the whole family

Whether you’re looking for summer support, a fun outing with your kids, or just a free meal and a great atmosphere—Summer Feast is for you.

Come early, stay awhile, and leave with full hands and full hearts.
