Project Completed
Project Details
Facility Maintenance Stage Lighting System Upgrades Project will upgrade 11 District campuses including: Churchill, Johnson, Lee, Madison, MacArthur, Reagan, and Roosevelt High Schools; and Driscoll, Krueger, Nimitz, and Wood Middle Schools. Each District high school will be retrofitted with new LED stage light fixtures. These new LED fixtures will improve the quality and flexibility of the theatrical lighting systems at each of the District’s high school auditoriums, while achieving savings in energy costs and bulb replacement maintenance. A portion of the traditional stage lighting systems (replaced by the LED lights) removed at each high school campus will be repurposed to selected middle school auditoriums. Additionally, at each of the selected middle schools, obsolete dimmer racks will be replaced, additional dimmer circuits will be provided, existing electrical infrastructure will be upgraded, additional secondary battens will be installed, and new lighting control consoles will be provided.
