Meal Payment, Á La Carte Pricing, and Birthday Treats
Your children may be eligible to receive free or reduced price meals. All families are encouraged to submit an application anytime during the school year if your child is not attending a CEP campus. Applying for this benefit is easy and confidential using our online application system which will be available in late July. Paper applications will be available at your child’s school in August.
For quicker service, we recommend that families apply online. A new application must be submitted each school year.
Á la carte items are also available for purchase.
The cafeteria offers a prepayment plan in all schools. Á la carte items may be purchased with this plan. Payment can be deposited into the student's account and the balance is reduced each time an item is purchased. Payments can be made by cash or check, with no fees, at the school cafeteria or by credit card online with a small convenience fee. A $100 deposit limit and a small convenience fee applies for credit card transactions.

Are cafeteria account balances carried forward each school year?
All money remaining in your child's account on the last day of school will begin the balance next school year. The funds will stay in the account even if your child transfers to another school within NEISD.
