Youth & Teen Enrichment

Learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends! North East ISD’s Youth Education programs give students the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and discover their creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Students may enroll in after-school courses offered only at their current campus, ensuring convenience and safety for families. However, classes held at Oak Meadow, Redland Oaks, Thousand Oaks Elementary, and all evening courses beginning after 6:30 p.m. are open to all children in the community, regardless of their school.

Our wide range of courses includes:

  • Creative Expression – Arts, crafts, and imagination-fueled projects.
  • Culinary Expression – Hands-on cooking and baking adventures.
  • Fine Arts – Music, theater, and visual arts for budding performers and creators.
  • Language & Communication – Build confidence through writing, reading, and public speaking.
  • Sports & Recreation – Active play, teamwork, and fitness-focused fun.
  • STEM/STEAM – Science, technology, engineering, art, and math brought to life through exploration and innovation.

At NEISD, we believe enrichment is the key to lifelong learning. Whether your child is trying something new or deepening a passion, Youth Ed courses make every afternoon an opportunity to grow.
