North East Independent School District

I am deeply committed to the integrity, safety, and future of the North East Independent School District. My connection to NEISD is personal; my son is a proud graduate of Castle Hills Elementary and the STEM Academy. During those years, I was actively involved in supporting our youth as a local Cubmaster. Those firsthand experiences as an NEISD parent and volunteer fueled my dedication to ensuring every student in our community has access to a world-class education.

My professional journey spans over 40 years of experience in high-stakes systems, organizational oversight, and public service. With three decades dedicated to Systems and IT expertise, I have designed global networks for Fortune 500 companies and specialized in modernizing legacy architectures. This background allows me to bring a data-driven, analytical perspective to the board, ensuring our district remains at the forefront of technological advancement and operational efficiency.

In addition to my work in technology, I served for a decade in Public Safety and Intelligence as a former Federal Intelligence Officer and Law Enforcement Officer, focusing on risk assessment and systemic accountability. I also bring 10 years of experience as a Forensic Fraud Investigator, specializing in protecting high-stakes systems through meticulous risk management. As a Trustee, I apply these specialized skills to safeguard our district’s resources, ensure strict fiscal accountability, and prioritize the well-being of our students and staff.

As a U.S. Navy Veteran, I carry the values of discipline and service into everything I do. My commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in a diverse academic background, including a Master’s in Computer Management Information Systems from Harvard University, a Master of Public Health, and studies at Loyola University Chicago, where I earned both a Master of Arts in Social Justice and a Master of Divinity. I am also currently a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration (Law and Public Policy).

I have also had the privilege of shaping future minds as an educator at the collegiate level, serving as a Program Chair and Adjunct Instructor at institutions including Texas A&M San Antonio. This role has given me a unique perspective on the "next steps" our students take after high school and the importance of aligning K-12 outcomes with higher education and workforce demands.

I eagerly anticipate collaborating with parents, educators, and community members at NEISD functions. Above all, I look forward to supporting our children—they are, and will always be, my primary focus.
