Caprice Garcia

I am honored to serve NEISD as School Board Trustee for Single Member District 7. Since moving to San Antonio in 2005, I have been heavily involved in my community, including in our church, Little League, Boy Scouts and neighborhood HOA. In 2012, I left my employment with the City of San Antonio to stay home with my children and started volunteering in their schools. Three of my children have graduated from NEISD schools and my youngest will start her freshman year in Fall 2026.

I’ve had the privilege of serving on the PTA of Steubing Ranch Elementary, Bradley Middle and Madison High Schools, in many positions, including PTA/PTSA President. I have served on various district and campus committees and have completed the Leadership North East program offered through the District. Additionally, I was employed as a NEISD substitute for approximately four years. These valuable experiences helped me develop a better understanding of our district and strengthened my commitment to advocating for all students.

I deeply value the essential role educators play in shaping our children’s future. I am committed to supporting their work and collaborating with district leaders to ensure every student receives a quality education. I also believe parent involvement is vital to student growth and success. I look forward to building strong relationships with families and the community so that, together, we can help every student thrive.

As a trustee, I want to make a positive impact in our schools and community. I am certain that my experiences will continue to guide my efforts to create a brighter future for all students.
