I am passionate about gifted education and advocating for GT students, so I am thrilled to be teaching GT at Wetmore!

Having gone through NEISD’s GT program myself from Kinder-12th, I know first hand what a positive impact this district’s GT program can have. As a mom, I understand how essential it is for our children to receive an education that is individualized for the way each child thinks, learns and engages with the information. As a teacher, I LOVE that each day in the GT classroom is different, each day is full of new challenges- for the students and for me! The GT kids always keep me on my toes, and I welcome the opportunity to keep my mind growing, learning and looking at ideas in new ways! We definitely have fun together!
