Student Transcripts
You need an official transcript to enroll in colleges or technical schools, for some employers, or to enlist in the military. Your transcript is the official document of your school attendance, grades earned, and graduation. NEISD can only provide a transcript for proof of graduation. We do not have, nor do we create, copies of your diploma.

What do I need to do to request a transcript?
The following information is required:
- Last name while enrolled in NEISD
- NEISD school last attended
- Last year of NEISD attendance
- A government or state-issued ID card, NO EXCEPTIONS (Currently enrolled students may present their student ID card for their proof of identity. Examples of acceptable identification are: driver’s license, state ID card, military ID, passport, or photo ID issued from a state or local government agency.)
- Signed authorization form for students under 18 years old
How much will a transcript cost?
The transcript fee is $5.00 per transcript.
Transcripts for scholarship applications are free for currently enrolled students. Contact the Counseling Office.
If transcripts are requested to be shipped by Fed Ex, there will be an additional charge. This fee will be paid by the student, or person requesting the transcript.
How long does it take to process a transcript request?
Transcript requests are processed within 5 business days of receipt. When possible, official transcripts to state-funded post-secondary institutions are transmitted electronically. NEISD can confirm the date records were sent, but not the date of arrival.
What is graduation verification?
Verification companies or prospective employers must request graduation verifications online using the Transcript Request Link. Graduation verification will not be given over the phone. In order to process graduation verifications, a signed release form (including the student name while enrolled in NEISD, his/her DOB, last NEISD school attended, and date of graduation) is required. Without this information, the request will not be processed. Graduation verifications requested by verification companies or prospective employers will be processed for a fee of $10.00.
