Parents/Guardians of students participating in an NEISD Dual Language program and students entering into Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year will have the opportunity to apply for a Preferred Dual Language Campus (PDLC) outside their home cluster. Click below to start the application process.
Under the Preferred Dual Language Campus Process, a parent or guardian can request his or her child be transferred to another school within the district other than the one serving their residence. Learn about the Preferred Dual Language Campus guidelines and how to apply.
The preferred Dual Language Campus Application window for the 2026-2027 school year will open on Decemeber 1st, 2025 at 7:20 a.m.
Reminder: After submitting your PDLC request, new applicants for Kinder and/or 1st grade must complete and submit the Dual Language Parent Tasks Checklist for Elementary. All checklists must be recieved at your designated Dual Language Campus on or before March 6, 2026.
Required Items on the Parent Tasks Checklist are as follows:
- Attend an NEISD Dual Language Parent Informational Meeting
- Schedule and complete a Dual Language Classroom Visit
- Complete and submit NEISD Online Registration for your child/children.
