Citizens' Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC)

On November 4, 2025, North East ISD voters approved three propositions totaling $482,990,000 to support facility improvements across our District. To ensure Bond 2025 remains aligned with voter intent, NEISD has established a Citizens' Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC). The CBAC provides an additional layer of accountability to help ensure every dollar approved by voters is managed responsibly and that all projects remain consistent with the approved bond propositions.

CBAC Purpose & Objectives

The Citizens' Bond Advisory Committee is composed of parents and community members who serve in an advisory capacity to monitor the progress of Bond 2025.

The purpose and objective of the CBAC is to:

• Receive regular updates from District staff on bond projects
• Review progress related to project scope, schedule, and budget
• Confirm that implementation aligns with what voters approved
• Provide feedback before recommendations are presented to the Board of Trustees

The committee strengthens transparency and ensures the community remains informed and engaged throughout the life of the bond program.

CBAC Membership

CBAC members are appointed to reflect representation from across the entire District. Each of the seven members of the NEISD Board of Trustees and the Superintendent of Schools appoints two representatives from their single-member district, one parent and one community member. This structure ensures balanced representation and diverse perspectives from across North East ISD.
