The 2015 Bond Program includes funding to replace selected roofed areas at seven (7) District facilities as part of the District’s planned Roof Replacement Program. Facilities included in the 2015 Bond Roofing Construction Program include: Lee High School; Krueger Middle School (transferred to the hail damage claim); and Clear Spring, Northwood, Ridgeview, Serna, and Stahl Elementary Schools. Typical roof life expectancies range from 20 to 30 years based upon several factors, which include: (1) quality of the roof product and construction installation; (2) wear and tear due to foot traffic for operations and maintenance access to rooftop equipment; and (3) long-term weather conditions and resultant impacts. This project addresses the Northwood Elementary School Re-Roofing and Roof-Related Work Project, which includes a total roof replacement area of 13,380 sq. ft.

The 2015 Bond Program includes funding to convert the main football field at each of the District’s seven high schools to artificial turf and to replace the existing artificial turf system at Comalander Stadium while also expanding the field playing surface of the Comalander Stadium competition field to better support a combination football/soccer venue.
