Steubing Ranch Elementary School has benefited from multiple bonds that have provided investments designed to support student learning, campus safety, and long-term facility quality. Bonds have established construction projects, supported facility improvements, replaced aging infrastructure, and modernized crucial systems that support essential daily operations. Over time, bond projects have helped develop a safer, more functional campus that better serves students, staff, and families. As a result, bonds continue to strengthen North East ISD schools and our San Antonio community.

2025 Bond

  • Direct Digital Controls (DDC) System Replacement/Upgrades
  • Secured Entry Vestibules - Districtwide
  • Upgrades to all ES Playgrounds, replacing missing or damages parts /components, new rubberized accessible sidewalks within playground surround, fall protection (pea gravel), & new playground sunshade canopy fabric replacements. - Districtwide
  • Weatherization of all ES Walking Tracks - Districtwide (46 ES Campuses ~402,900SF Walking Track)

2003 Bond

Steubing Ranch ES New School

The 2003 Bond provided for construction of two new elementary schools on flat/gradual-graded sites with classroom capacity for 1000 students and core facilities capable of supporting 1200 students. The design includes: (1) forty-five classrooms with grade-level workrooms and storage, (2) one computer lab, (3) two music rooms, (4) two resource rooms, (5) two self-contained rooms, (6) one speech room, (7) one content mastery room, (8) one gifted and talented room, (9) one OTPT room, (10) library, (11) kitchen and cafeteria, (12) two gymnasiums with PE Office and athletic storage, (13) administrative offices and nurse station, (14) parking facilities for staff and visitors, (15) general playfields, and (16) playgrounds (upper grade / kinder areas).

1 The Bond Planning Estimate represents the original bond program costs developed during the bond planning meetings for each project and includes: Design Fees, Construction Costs, Technology Equipment and Installation, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment and Construction Management Costs. The School Board "approved" construction budget can be found in the project Bid Award Agenda Item and represents any/all changes to the project resulting from the design development process and/or construction marketplace and inflation costs.
