Heroes Stadium has benefited from multiple bonds that provided significant investments designed to support student athletics, safety, and long-term facility quality. Bonds have supported construction projects, driven facility improvements, replaced aging infrastructure, and modernized essential systems that support event operations. Over time, these bonds have helped develop a safer, more functional athletic environment that better serves students, staff, and families. As a result, bond investments continue to strengthen athletic programs and community engagement across North East ISD and San Antonio.

2010 Project

Heroes Stadium - New Score Board

Added a new score board that has a 15 ft. by 25 ft. video board system and advertising panels. The new video and score boards will be paid by advertising funds generated by the sale of the advertising panels. Additionally, the video board system will generate revenue back to the district once advertising goals are met.

2007 Bond

Heroes Stadium - New Stadium Facility

The 2007 Bond Program included funding to build a new athletic stadium at a 58.01 acre District owned site in the Longhorn Quarry area. The Project was designed and bid in multiple bid packages as follows: Package I provided for selection of the Construction Manager; Package II provided for the design of the New Athletic Stadium bleacher package, selection of the Bleacher Manufacturer and submission of the bleacher shop drawings; Package III provided for design and construction of the New Stadium foundation, structure and site utilities; Package IV provided for design and construction of the Architectural Facility Finish-Out, Civil Infrastructure, Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing (MEP) Systems and Sports Turf Package for the New Athletic Stadium Facilities
