Students and staff at Roan Forest Elementary School are celebrating the school's Lighthouse status. The campus achieved this prestigious recognition in December 2018 by demonstrating excellence in the Covey Habits at school, home, and the greater community.
The Lighthouse Team has been our beacon of light through this process,” said Roan Forest Principal Chris Specia. “We are proud of our student leaders and are excited to share this accomplishment with the world.”
Roan Forest’s Lighthouse status will be announced at the "Leader in Me" Symposium on January 22 at the Norris Conference Center. The "Leader in Me" is an integrated approach to teaching leadership using Dr. Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
