What does the YA sticker mean?

YA means Young Adult. This means that the content has more mature content.  It may not be appropriate for your student. Because middle school serves diverse ages including more mature teenagers, the library needs to have books that meets their needs. All of our books are carefully reviewed by professional sources and the librarian before it is purchased.
