Good Evening KSAT Parents,

Welcome to the 2021- 2022 School Year.

We are so excited to have all the students back on campus.  From our Falcon Camp attendance, it appears that many of you are ready as well.  We had a great turn out and hope you enjoyed the activities of the evenings.

School starts at 8:20 each day. Breakfast begins at 7:45.  On Monday, students will report to their 2nd period classroom as soon as they finish breakfast or arrive on campus if they are  not eating breakfast at school.  Our first day procedures will be conducted in the 2nd period.

After Monday, KSAT students will report to the MPC after breakfast or when they arrive on campus until the entry bell rings.

Here is some information for this school year.

Bell Schedule

This year, Monday has a different bell schedule than Tuesday through Friday. On Monday, the students get out at 3:20 pm. The bus schedule indicates the earlier release time.  Tuesday through Friday, the students are release at 3:50 pm. Click the link to see the bell schedule:  KMS/ KSAT Bell Schedule

Transportation

The KSAT magnet shuttle bus schedule can be found at the following link: KSAT Bus Schedule . Please note the different time on Monday compared Tuesday through Friday.

If your child rides a Krueger bus, click this link for the Krueger bus routes.

During the first few days of school, the buses often run late.  Be patient.  If you have any questions, send me an email, or contact transportation directly.

Mask Mandate: New information about masks came out late this afternoon. Effective tomorrow (August 16), face coverings for NEISD students and staff are optional.  However, the District strongly encourages everyone to wear a mask inside all District facilities in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

For more information, NEISD COVID information can be found at the link to Critical Information Updates.

Finally, I have a new assistant starting on Monday (August 16).  Rose Gonzalez is her name, and her number is same- 210-356-4733.

Let me know if you have other questions.
