COVID 19 Information:

**UPDATE: If your student gets the COVID19 Vaccine please send copy of this record to clinic so we can update immunization in skyward**

With the COVID19 pandemic, it has changed the way the clinic process for sending a student home works.

If your student has any of the below symptoms, whether it develops at home or at school, the clinic will do an assessment in person or over the phone to determine if the symptoms raise a concern for COVID19.

Cough, congestion or runny nose, sore throat, chills, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, body or muscle aches, headache, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, feeling feverish or having a temperature equal or greater than 100.0 and/or shortness of breath or trouble breathing.

If it is determined that this could possibly fall under the concern of COVID 19 your student will need to be sent home and you will have 3 options to return to school (only 1 of the options needs to be done):

Option 1: 10 days have passed since symptoms began, fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications and symptoms have improved.

Option 2: Submit a note to the school nurse from a medical professional clearing your child to return to school based on an alternative diagnosis.

Option 3: Submit a negative molecular (PCR) COVID-19 test result to the school nurse. A negative rapid COVID-19 test will not allow a student who experienced symptoms to return to school. It must be a PCR test OR If your child’s COVID-19 test result is positive, or they are told they are presumed positive for COVID-19, notify the school nurse for further return to school guidance.
