2022 Accountability Ratings rank NEISD among best in SA
North East ISD received an overall score of 89 from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) this week. This is the first time the TEA has released statewide accountability ratings and distinctions since 2019.
NEISD schools earned 212 distinctions this year, improving upon the 120 we earned in 2019. Fifty-five of our campuses earned an A or B rating. That’s 12 more than reported in 2019. None of our campuses were “not rated” which means we had no D or F rated campuses.
Our District’s score of 89 ranks us among the best performing districts in San Antonio. This is a direct reflection of the incredible teachers and staff who worked so hard to support and engage with our students academically through every stage of the pandemic. Scores are based largely on the results of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, or STAAR exam.
