I have proudly been an educator in the North East Independent School District for the past 11 years. For the first 8 years I taught 6th grade Reading at Krueger Middle School. At Krueger, I received the Campus Teacher of the Year Award, the Trinity Prize Teacher Award and the PTA Honorary Life Member Award. I was also trained to be a Covey Trainer and currently a member of the DEIC Committee for NEISD. After receiving a Master’s in Education from Concordia University in 2014, I was an Assistant Principal at Krueger from 2014-2017. On this new journey at Madison High School, I share with you my mission statement:  I will live each day to be Christ-Like using Psalm 1 as my guide; I will live to create a home filled with passion, love, hope an peace; I will live to continually improve myself as an educator; I will live to change a child’s life for the better; and I will live to have no regrets!
