Texas Bluebonnet Award Program

The Texas Bluebonnet Award Program gives 3rd - 6th grade students an opportunity to read books from a variety of genres.  

Every school year, 20 titles are chosen to be considered for the Texas Bluebonnet Award.  These titles make up the Texas Bluebonnet Master List.

Students, in participating Texas schools, who read at least 5 titles from the Master List are elgible to vote for their favorite book in January.  The author who receives the most votes is the winner of the Texas Bluebonnet Award.
