Visiting the Library

Visiting the Library

The library is open from 7:45 AM to 4 PM daily. There may be times when we are closed before/after school or during the day for meetings, special instruction, or another event.

Students may visit before school, during lunch, and after school, as well as during a class period with a pass from their teacher.

Students must sign in each time they visit the library.

During a class period, students must have a pass signed by a teacher.

During lunch, students may pick up a lunch pass anytime before their lunch period and use that pass to enter the library during their lunch period. Students are not permitted to eat lunch in the library at this time. However, students are welcome to eat their lunch in the cafeteria and then come to the library to read, complete assignments, or relax in a quiet, safe space.

Students must adhere to the Tex Hill Student Behavior Expectations and Academic Policy, the NEISD Student Code of Conduct, and follow the NEISD Acceptable Use Policy for Technology within the library as they would in any other NEISD school environment.

Reserving the Learning Commons for Non-School Use:
