Pre-K opportunities expand to 3-year-olds at NEISD

Parents, we have good news! Pre-K isn’t just for four-year-olds at North East ISD. Three-year-olds can enroll at the Pre-K Academy at West Avenue starting in the 2022-2023 school year. 

The Pre-K Academy at West Avenue can offer your child a jump start in their educational journey and a solid foundation to their future. The entire program is curated to meet the needs of our youngest students through hands-on experiences and purposeful play. Paul Kienlen, Pre-K Academy at West Avenue Principal, says the experience will be even richer for our students and families because they’ll be able to spend two years on campus before moving on to kindergarten.

“We are looking forward to expanding the services we provide to the NEISD community,” said Kienlen. “By accepting three-year-old students into our program, our outstanding team of educators will be able to work with families and students for two years. Their child will experience high-quality learning in a center designed for young students. This is a great place to begin your educational journey.”
