MacArthur student’s big dream gains steam
For as long as his mom can remember, Colter Stewart has had one dream: to become a train engineer at Brackenridge Park. That dream is now gaining steam.
Colter is a 10th grader at MacArthur High School receiving Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) services.
Morgan's Wonderland recently had an informational table set up during lunch at MacArthur to recruit summer employees. Some of Colter's peers know about his passion for trains, so they encouraged him to visit the table.
Colter took their advice, spoke with the team, and soon after received a call for an interview. Now, Colter will proudly serve as the assistant to the train operator at Morgan's Wonderland!
Full steam ahead – Colter is well on track to achieving his dreams!
A big thank you to Colter's family, support team and friends for offering encouragement the NEISD way!
