Are you interested in PALS? If you are dedicated, responsible, a good listener, compassionate, have good attendance and want to serve your school and community, you may be a good candidate for PALS. We want a diverse cross-section of peer helpers. Our PALS groups should be from a variety of student groups—it is not a popularity contest and you do not need to have a high GPA (you need to be passing though). An especially important characteristic of a good PAL is that he/she likes kids because a big part of our class is mentoring younger students.
