ACE Wheelchair Ramp Build    28 November 2017

     Five ACE students built a wheelchair ramp for a deserving family here in San Antonio through the Texas Ramps Project.  The students, Raul Aguilar, Dawnna Pomerleau, Rose Mellenbach, Sean Larking, and Brianna Guajardo.  The students learned the use of power tools, applied Geometry, and witnessed the effect and power of willing community service for deserving members of our community can have on those individuals and themselves.    The ramp was 21 feet long and met all OSHA safety and construction standards.   Thank you to all the students and the Texas Ramps Project.
