First of all, let me say how proud I am to be the new school nurse here at Harmony Hills Elementary!  Go Hawks!

Like you, my husband and I are proud parents.  My oldest son started kindergarten this school year.  His little brother is nearly 2 and hard at work preparing for a career in mountain climbing. 

I graduated from the San Antonio College of Nursing in 2011 and began my career as a Registered Nurse in the postpartum unit at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital.  For the past 8 years, I’ve been caring for mothers and their precious newborns, a job that has given me much joy.  Eager to further my education, I completed the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Texas Tech and earned my BSN in December of 2017.

As your school nurse, I am eager to provide the highest quality of care to the students and staff here at Harmony Hills, and I look forward to working with the proud Hawk parents to keep our children healthy and ready to learn.  Some of my duties include conducting essential health screenings, providing specialized health care and services, assessing individual growth and development, and monitoring student immunizations.  If you have any questions or need my assistance in the care of your child, please give me a call or stop by the clinic.  My door is open.  Again, go Hawks!
