Delva Perez
Hello, my name is Delva Perez and I am Hardy Oak's full time counselor. This year, I will be working primarily with Grades 2, 3,4 and 5. I received my Bachelor's Degree from UT Austin and I joined the Hardy Oak family when the school first opened in 2000. Previously, I taught 6th and 7th grade math in SAISD then I was a 4th grade teacher in NEISD for 5 years. Once I received my Master's degree from UTSA in 1996, I became a counselor in NEISD. I was a counselor at Clear Spring Elemenary for 3 years, then came to Hardy Oak. I have 2 children who both attend NEISD schools. My daughter, Arica, is a junior at Madison High School and my son, Aidden, is a 4th grader here at Hardy Oak. I feel I have one of the most rewarding jobs on campus as I get to work with such great staff and students. I thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us and my goal is to help each child grow emotionally, socially, and academically. I promise to love and take care of them as if they were my own!
