Welcome STEM and Nimitz Family, 

I am Melissa Perez, STEM Counselor and I am thrilled to be working here at Nimitz with this wonderful group of humans!!!

I consider myself one of the most fortunate people in the world because I love my job!  I am afforded the awesome opportunity of empowering children every day to become responsible and productive lifelong learners.

My mission is to empower all students to reach their fullest potential by providing a comprehensive school counseling program to facilitate their academic, career, social and emotional development.  Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe and caring environment to assist all students in becoming responsible and productive lifelong learners. 

I work with the STEM family at both Nimitz and at Lee.  Mrs. Jensen (Director) and Mr. Smiley (Asst. Director) are our wonderful STEM leaders!
