Roosevelt CyberPatriots place 3rd at nationals

Roosevelt CyberPatriots on stage at Nationals 2023 with NEISD logo

Another stellar performance from the Roosevelt High School CyberPatriot team!

It’s become a tradition for this group to perform at the CyberPatriot National Finals in Bethesda, Maryland. The team competed against the top cyber teams in the country over the weekend.

Last night it was announced that Roosevelt placed 3rd overall in the nation in the All-Service Competition!

They also won the All-Service Cisco NETACAD Challenge, a tough competition of designing, hardening and defending a network! Roosevelt ranked best among 1,500 teams to begin the season and best among the other 11 finalists at nationals.

Thanks to their incredible performance, every Roosevelt student on the team earned $2,000 in scholarship money.

Notably, Roosevelt recently won the 2023 San Antonio Mayor’s Cyber Cup for the fifth year in a row. The team is made up of Roosevelt JROTC cadets in the Engineering & Technologies Academy (ETA) and Design and Technology Academy (DATA).

Congratulations to all of our CyberPatriot students and coaches!
