Don't Dress for Dinner Cast:

Cast List for: Don’t Dress for Dinner by Marc Camoletti

Wow, Wow, Wow….

What a turnout and what difficult decisions you made for me!! Thank you all for your time, talents, and patience with me this week. As I’ve said before, cobbling together a cast of strangers is a daunting task. You were all so patient and loving that I wish I could cast each and every one of you. You were all professional and courteous and it brings tears to my eyes when I think about how proud I am of each of you for your courage and dedication to the craft. But, as you know, there are limited roles and resources. I puzzled until my puzzler was sore- putting faces and readings of beautiful strangers into my mind. I pray I have done what I was attempting to do: matching actors from the casting pool to work in the right role with an overarching cast chemistry to serve the playwright’s intention and the director’s vision. I have included understudies in the cast list. If you choose not to accept an understudy role, I completely understand. But know that you are loved, respected and utilized more often than you might think. To all, whether cast or not, congratulations for a job well done- more than well done- splendidly done! You have my deepest gratitude. Please e-mail me at: wyoung1@neisd.net or text me (with your name) at 210.241.6578 with your acceptance or declination of the role. Our first read-through will be on Thursday, September 5th in the Black Box Theatre at 4:15 p.m. at which time we will discuss schedules and expectations. See you on the boards!
