Churchill proud of TSA Best in State winners

Churchill High School won 19 Best in State medals in Technology Student Association (TSA) state competition this week in Ft. Worth. With more than 5000 entries in 88 categories, the following students were Best in State in film production, web design and 3D printing. Photo below is of the school's Best in State students.

TSA State results:

  • Zoe Del Rosario Perez, 1st place, 10 second 2D animation and 1st place 2D animation exactly 30 seconds
  • Claire Golden, 1st place, web design
  • Alyssa Penrod, 1st place, Instructional Video for Deaf Awareness
  • Paola Rodriquez, 1st place, Thematic Portfolio using a yearbook layout & 3rd place promotional video featuring professional race car driver
  • Adrian Gutierrez, 1st place, Creating animated logos for video, 2nd place in state Gucci bowl animation under 10 seconds & 3rd place newscast “Tech talk with Adrian”
  • Victoria Morgan, Gold in 3 categories: 1st place time-lapse video, journalist photography, & 3D printing, 2nd place in state video album and promotional video, 3rd place in state portrait photography
  • Tyler Ford, 1st place, 30 second PSA “Threads of Love”
