The 11th annual Bexar County School Age Parenting Conference welcomed parents from the surrounding area on April 20 at the Northside ISD Activity Center. The Bexar County School Age Parenting Coalition consists of numerous public school districts within Bexar County, including North East ISD, organizes and offers this fun and informative event each year. The annual conference provides school age parents with important information regarding positive parenting for their children.
The school districts invited pregnant and parenting students to the center to engage in a day full of inspiring learning experiences. This year, the conference will consist of educational and empowering speakers, workshops, and resources to assist and encourage NEISD’s students to continue their education while becoming engaged advocates for their own children.
