Jackson Middle School was happy to host its 7th Annual College Night on Nov. 14. This year, State Representative Diego Bernal served as Keynote Speaker. Students and parents took in the representative’s message about the importance of a good education. The special event also gave parents the opportunity to attend two breakout session of their choice.
Additionally, Jackson welcomed 60 AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) students who each conducted research on a college or university and put that information on display. The students also answered parent and student questions about their chosen school. It was a fantastic learning experience for all who attended.
