Board welcomes new trustee

Community member Joseph Trevino was appointed as the newest Trustee of the North East ISD Board of Trustees at a special board meeting on Sept. 18. He will occupy the position in NEISD’s Single Member District 3 and will hold the seat through May 2018. At that time, the District 3 seat will be open for election.

Trevino is filling a position left vacant after Trustee Sandi Wolff had to resign due to a family move that would take her out of the District.

Trevino has been an active member of the PTA for several years and is currently the PTA President at Colonial Hills Elementary School. He is also an active member of the NEISD Council of PTAs and the Chairman of the Back the Future committee. He and his wife have one daughter who attends Jackson Middle School.
