Congratulations to the North East ISD elementary and middle school artists who took top honors at recent Visual Arts Scholastic Events (VASE).
NEISD had a total of 509 entries at the Junior VASE Region 20 contest Saturday, May 1, and 417 of those entries earned the highest rating possible. Of that group, 47 earned top Platinum status and 19 came from Melissa Volz's classroom at Lopez Middle School.
NEISD elementary students were recognized for their outstanding artwork at the Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM) on Saturday, May 8. TEAM is the VASE equivalent for elementary students. Congratulations to the young artists who took home the highest "Top of TEAM" honors.
