McKinney-Vento holiday drives serve NEISD students

The McKinney-Vento Project is a direct line of support for North East ISD students in homeless situations. If you or someone you know wants to give back to NEISD students this holiday season, you can take part in the food, hygiene and warm clothing drives through Wednesday, Dec. 9. The District’s Family Support Services department organizes the donation drive. Data Processor Jennifer Paz says the pandemic has made the annual event even more crucial.

“With parents out of work due to COVID-19, the food, hygiene and warm clothing drives are very important right now for our families,” said Paz. “Every donation will directly impact families throughout NEISD.”

Donations can be dropped off at the Family Support Services office at 3736 Perrin-Central, Building 1, San Antonio, Texas 78217. For more information, call 210-407-0750
